Molding Process

FRC Corporation is experienced in injection and compression molding of all types of material, ranging from commodity to engineering resins. We are also very familiar with a variety of high-vacuum encapsulation and potting processes. We specialize in ultra-close tolerances and are equipped for short-, medium- and long-production runs. We are also equipped to perform two-color molding and insert molding. Our in-house tool and machine shop, equipped with CAD/CAM, allows us to design, repair and maintain molds, eliminating costly downtime.

The plastics department produces various hand-cast and machine-molded shells and skins for all our antenna product lines. Secondary machining, ultrasonic welding and decorating requirements are completed in our machine shop and paint shops, giving us more control over the quality of our parts.

We take pride in our ability to consistently provide a top-quality product and are continually evaluating ways to reduce cost and lead-time. To achieve these goals, we train all our operators to be first-line inspectors, as well as independent problem-solvers.
